In Austria, everything that has not been explicitly permitted is now prohibited. Disease control is only marginally concerned here.
The number is rising and rising – not exponentially, but extremely fast: On 22 March there were 2900 cases to complain about, eight days later already more than 10,000. On 5 April alone, the figure rose by 1200 to more than 16,000. The coming Easter weekend will probably lead to a further strong increase; the combination of good weather and a lot of free time is unfortunately extremely unfavourable. New, sad records are in sight.
